Euro Rebounds as Weak US Jobs Data Dents Dollar
The euro has rebounded to $1.126 after dipping to its lowest level in over a year, thanks to weaker-than-expected US employment data that weighed on the dollar.
The US economy added just 29,000 jobs in September, far below expectations of 90,000, which has raised hopes that the Federal Reserve may keep interest rates steady at its upcoming meeting.
Meanwhile, the Eurozone's inflation rate accelerated to 3.8% in September, its highest level since last year and well above the European Central Bank's (ECB) 2% target, largely due to rising fuel prices.
