Euro Weakens Against Lek as Dollar and Pound Strengthen
The latest official exchange rate published by the Bank of Albania shows that the euro has weakened slightly against the Albanian lek. The euro is currently trading at 91.98 lek, down 0.05 lek from its previous price. This movement indicates a slight strengthening of the lek against the single European currency.
On the other hand, the US dollar and British pound have strengthened against the Albanian lek. The US dollar is quoted at 81.80 lek, up 0.27 lek from its previous price. This means that the lek has weakened compared to the dollar. The British pound also increased in value, trading at 108.01 lek, a strengthening of 0.24 lek.
The official exchange rates published by the Bank of Albania are used as reference points and should not be confused with the buying and selling prices applied by banks or foreign exchange points.
