Eurozone Firms Lag Behind US Counterparts in AI Financing
The European Central Bank (ECB) has analyzed data that highlights an important difference between Eurozone companies and their US rivals in financing artificial intelligence (AI) investments.
According to the ECB, Eurozone companies primarily rely on internal funds to support AI development projects, whereas US firms have borrowed heavily from external sources to finance their expansion.
This divergence in access to financing may hinder the pace of investment in AI for Eurozone companies compared to their US counterparts, which have leveraged loans and other capital sources to accelerate their investments.
