Fed Extends Comment Period on Regulation O Proposal
The Federal Reserve Board has extended the comment period for its proposal to modernize Regulation O until November 4. This rule governs the extension of credit by banks to their executives, board members, and major shareholders who could influence lending decisions.
The original deadline for comments was October 5, but the Fed has given interested parties more time to analyze the issues and prepare their feedback.
