Gold Price Reaches New Heights as Net Long Positions Surge
The latest installment of the 'Pivot Points + Long/Short Position Signals' series has been released, covering gold, oil, forex, and stock indices. The analysis compares the current net long percentage to the previous day's data, generating a total of 13 position signals.
According to Jinrongwang APP report, as of September 28, 2026, five instruments are in 'overbought' status, with long positions exceeding 80%. The highest long position percentage is held by FTSE China A50 at 98%, followed closely by NZD/USD and NZD/JPY.
The net short positions increased in one instrument, while decreasing in two. In contrast, eight instruments saw an increase in net long positions, including spot gold XAU/USD, FTSE China A50, Hong Kong Hang Seng Index HK50, EUR/USD, AUD/JPY, NZD/USD, and NZD/JPY.
