ICE Canola Futures Recover Late, Despite Delays and Lower Crop Projections
Canola futures on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) erased earlier losses before showing independent strength. The Canadian dollar was down two-tenths of a U.S. cent compared to Wednesday's close.
The Saskatchewan crop report said the province's canola harvest was 15% complete as of September 14, which is lower than last year's pace at the same point (21%).
Statistics Canada projected the 2026-27 canola crop at 22.1 million tonnes, a 0.8% decline from last year's crop.
