Iran Releases New Exchange Rates as Currency Values Fluctuate

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 27. According to the CBI's announced rates, the value of 45 currencies increased while one currency decreased compared to September 26.

The official rate for $1 stood at 1,717,400 rials, with one euro valued at 1,944,781 rials on September 27. This marks a slight increase from September 26, when the euro was priced at 1,956,316 rials.

The CBI has adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,956,316 rials and $1 costs 1,717,400. The black market rates for these currencies are significantly higher, with $1 worth about 2,34-2,37 million rials and one euro valued at 2,66-2,69 million rials.
