The European Central Bank (ECB) has approved Innovative Technology's range of note validators, which have demonstrated a 100-per-cent pass rate in testing.

Testing took place at De Nederlandsche Bank at the end of July, where the NV9 Spectral, NV200 Spectral and NV10 USB all achieved a perfect score, as did the legacy NV9USB+ and NV200ST validators.

'We are proud to have passed the ECB's strict testing process again this year,' said James Beswick, customer support manager. 'Our latest validators use Spectral Technology, which combines proprietary sensing with algorithms designed in-house to deliver the highest possible level of security.'

Operators can also keep their machines up to date with free firmware and global currency datasets, developed continuously by ITL to add new issue notes and known frauds.
