LeBlanc Meets with US Trade Officials Amid Looming Tariff Deadline

Canada's Minister responsible for Canada, U.S. Trade and Intergovernmental Affairs and One Canadian Economy, Dominic LeBlanc, met with U.S. trade officials on Tuesday for the third time in as many weeks to discuss avert looming tariffs.

LeBlanc's meeting with U.S. trade officials comes just days before a key deadline for Canada to resolve its long-standing trade disputes with the United States.

The meeting was part of ongoing efforts by Canada and the U.S. to negotiate a new trade agreement, as tensions between the two nations remain high over issues such as tariffs and trade imbalances.
