Loonie Falls for Eighth Straight Day Amid Stronger USD

The Canadian dollar continued its losing streak, closing at US$0.7048 after an eighth-straight loss.

This marks a decline from Monday's close of US$0.7058 or US$1=C$1.4168, with the U.S. Dollar Index pushing above 101 points at 101.165.

The TSX Composite Index also saw losses, easing back by 29.59 points to close at 35,460.27 on Tuesday.
