Nepal Rastra Bank Sets Exchange Rates for Major Currencies

Nepal's central bank has set today's exchange rates for various foreign currencies. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the purchase rate for one US dollar is set at 153 rupees and 20 paisa, while the selling rate is 153 rupees and 80 paisa.

The bank has also determined the exchange rates for other currencies, including the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, and Singapore dollar. The purchase rate for one Australian dollar is 108 rupees and 93 paisa, with a selling rate of 109 rupees and 36 paisa.

The central bank has released these rates in accordance with its regulatory functions, ensuring that market participants have access to up-to-date information on exchange rates. These rates are effective as of today's date, September 17th, 2026.
