NZD/USD Steadies Below 0.5900 Amid FOMC and Iran Tensions

The New Zealand dollar (NZD) has stabilized below $0.5900 against the US dollar, as traders await the outcome of a two-day Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.

The NZD/USD pair struggled to build on overnight gains from the 0.5860 support level, instead seesawing between minor losses and tepid gains during the Asian session on Wednesday.

With USD bulls hesitant to place fresh bets before the FOMC meeting, focus will remain on the accompanying policy statement and comments from US Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh during the post-meeting press conference.

The Fed's outlook will play a key role in influencing US dollar price dynamics and providing impetus to the NZD/USD pair.
