Pakistani Rupee Extends Winning Streak Against US Dollar

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has maintained its winning streak against the US Dollar (USD), closing in green for the 253rd consecutive day on Friday. The PKR closed at 277.07 after gaining three paisas against the USD today.

At its current pace, the rupee can easily jump into 276 against the dollar soon.

The rupee has been consistently reporting gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.

Other currencies saw varying results, with PKR gaining 45 paisas against GBP and two paisas against AUD. It gained Rs. 1.22 against EUR but lost 11 paisas against CAD.
