Revolut, a leading fintech company, has received a full banking license in France from the country's banking regulator, ACPR, and the European Central Bank (ECB).

The move allows Revolut to transition its Western European customers to the French entity, starting with France and eventually expanding to other countries such as Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

The company plans to recruit over 600 additional staff members in line with its commitment to invest over €1 billion in Western Europe. Its new headquarters will be located in Paris and is set to begin operations next year, where 400 of the new hires will be stationed.
