Rupee Falls Amid Global Tensions and Rising Crude Oil Prices
The Indian Rupee fell to 96.03 against the US Dollar on Monday due to global tensions and rising crude oil prices.
Global risk-off sentiments, driven by the stalemate between the US and Iran, led to a surge in Brent crude oil futures to USD 108.04 per barrel.
As a result of this increase in crude oil prices, foreign investors offloaded equities worth Rs 3,693.93 crore on Friday, adding pressure to the Rupee.
