Sojitz Eyes $635 Million Renewable Energy Push in Australia, NZ
Japanese trading house Sojitz is weighing an investment of 100 billion yen ($635 million) in renewable energy grids and infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand over the next three years.
The company, which has been working on infrastructure projects in Australia since acquiring Capella Capital Partnership last year, aims to expand its energy-related operations in the region.
