Trump Blasts Fed Board Over Interest Rate Hike

President Trump has expressed his discontent with the recent interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve. The board voted to raise rates to a range of 3.75% to 4%, their first increase in three years.

In a statement, Trump praised Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh but blamed the board for the decision, saying they are 'hostile' and 'very political.'

'They're doing the wrong thing,' Trump said. The president has been critical of the Fed's decision, claiming that the US interest rate should be lower due to its strong economic performance.

Trump also pointed out that if the US were to stop trading with countries that have a deficit with it, the country would gain at least $1.5 trillion per year.
