Ukraine Cuts Official Exchange Rates for Dollar and Euro on September 11

The National Bank of Ukraine set lower official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro on September 11, 2026. The US currency fell by 9 kopecks to UAH 44.55, while the European currency dropped by 23 kopecks to UAH 51.76.

The exchange rates at banks showed different spreads for consumers, with buying prices ranging from UAH 44.34 to UAH 44.65 and selling prices ranging from UAH 44.83 to UAH 44.78 for the dollar, and UAH 51.48 to UAH 51.94 and UAH 52.12 to UAH 52.15 for the euro.

The government's draft state budget for 2026 projected an average annual hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 45.6 per dollar, but this is still higher than the current official rate of UAH 44.55.
