US Dollar Index Rallies Amid Hawkish Fed Outlook
The US Dollar Index (DXY) has been gaining ground after two days of losses and is trading around 100.30 during Asian hours on Monday.
This gain comes as Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari stated that inflation is too high across all sectors of the US economy, not just in rising oil prices.
The DXY has been supported by the Federal Reserve's hawkish interest-rate hike, which has led to a weekly gain of over 1% for the index.
