US Stocks Rebound on Declining Oil Prices and Bond Yields
U.S. stocks rebounded on Wednesday as oil prices dipped and bond yields retreated from multi-decade highs, according to Jay Hatfield, CEO of Infrastructure Capital Advisors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 294.06 points, or 0.56 percent, to close at 53,060.94, while the S&P 500 rose 35.16 points, or 0.46 percent, to end at 7,666.63.
Meanwhile, the NASDAQ Composite added 118.05 points, or 0.45 percent, to settle at 26,217.83, as major tech names recovered from earlier losses.
The rebound was attributed to a decline in oil prices and bond yields, with analysts cautioning that volatility is likely to persist as traders assess the effectiveness of Japan's official action and await further signals from the Federal Reserve and other major central banks.
