Uzbekistan's Central Bank Announces Exchange Rate Adjustments

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 29, 2026. The dollar experienced a decline of 18.43 soums to reach 11,806.97 soums. This is a significant drop compared to previous rates. The euro also fell by 52.89 soums to 13,430.43 soums.

Other currencies showed similar trends, with the pound sterling decreasing by 10.26 soums to 15,659.58 soums and the Russian ruble falling by 0.48 soums to 139.86 soums. However, the Japanese yen rose by 0.18 soums to 75.22 soums.

The exchange rates of other currencies also experienced changes, with the Swiss franc decreasing by 80.48 soums to 14,192.78 soums and the Chinese yuan falling by 2.01 soums to 1,759.48 soums.
