The State Bank of Vietnam made a minor adjustment to its central exchange rate on Wednesday, reducing it by VND2 to VND25,630 per U.S. dollar.

This measured move is expected to maintain a stable currency policy for the dong, but may influence broader expectations for VND liquidity and cross-currency dynamics involving the Australian Dollar.

The AUD/VND price is currently trading at ₫17,983.4432, down from earlier in the day, and remains below its key moving averages.

Technical analysis suggests that bearish momentum is expected to persist within a range of ₫17,871 to ₫18,051 over the next 2-3 days, with a low probability of a move higher and a favored likelihood of continued downside.
