A California judge has denied a woman's request to vacate a $12 million arbitration award in favor of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who was accused of sexual assault. The woman had claimed that she was not adequately represented during the arbitration process and that the arbitrator made errors in his decision.

However, the judge rejected her claims, stating that she appeared to have ignored the arbitrator's orders just like she disregarded his own instructions. The judge asked, 'Why did you do that?'

The woman had accused Schmidt of sexual assault and sought damages, but the arbitration award was in favor of Schmidt.
