$20bn Qatar-JPMorgan Partnership Aims for Global Equity Access

The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and JPMorgan Asset Management have formed a strategic partnership worth $20 billion. The agreement includes a $15 billion public equities mandate, where JPMAM will manage customized global equity portfolios for QIA, as well as a $5 billion private markets investment initiative.

The private investment strategy will focus on providing senior financing to middle-market companies in the U.S. across industrials, services, healthcare, and technology sectors.

Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi, CEO of QIA, stated that the collaboration will provide access to global equity and private credit platforms.
