Pershing Square's $3.3 billion investment in fintech marks a significant shift for the hedge fund, according to its Q2 2026 13F filing and shareholder letter.

The positions, which clock in at approximately $1.1 billion each, represent a decisive pivot toward payment networks and financial data providers.

Pershing Square acquired 3.27 million shares of Visa, a position valued at $1.12 billion that now represents 5.76% of the firm's portfolio, as well as 2.12 million shares of Mastercard worth approximately $1.09 billion (5.61% of holdings).

The S&P Global position rounded out the trio at roughly $1.06 billion to $1.1 billion.
