$50M Malaga Water System Expansion Kicks Off with Major Upgrades

The Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority and the Malaga Water District have begun a $50 million project to expand Malaga's water system.

The three-year effort includes four construction projects, adding about 9 miles of transmission and distribution water lines and 1.2 million gallons of water storage.

The expansion aims to improve reliability and pumping capacity for Microsoft and other district customers.
