96GB GeForce RTX 5090 Mod Listed on Alibaba for $3,888

A Chinese OEM and ODM operation called Shenzhen Suqiao Intelligent Technology has listed a modified GeForce RTX 5090 on Alibaba, featuring 96GB of GDDR7 memory. The price tag for this massive memory upgrade is $3,888, significantly lower than the going US price for an unmodified RTX 5090 in September 2026.

This isn't the first time a Chinese vendor has offered a modified version of Nvidia's GPU with triple the memory. However, Suqiao's listing stands out due to its competitive pricing and the fact that it's available as a retail-style listing rather than a bulk-only enterprise deal.

The RTX 5090 was launched at an MSRP of $1,999 with 32GB of GDDR7 memory, but prices have been climbing in recent months. The spread in September 2026 US pricing is wide enough to tell its own story, ranging from around $4,600 to more than $9,000 depending on the board partner and retailer.

The exact chip density and count used by Suqiao to hit 96GB remains unclear, but it's reported that technicians desolder the factory GDDR7 memory devices and replace them with higher-density chips. The GPU die itself stays untouched, with the same Blackwell compute silicon as a stock card running the new capacity.
