ABC15 Helps Residents Resolve Consumer Complaints
Three Arizona residents turned to ABC15's Let ABC15 Know team for help resolving consumer complaints. Volunteers from the Better Business Bureau helped mediate disputes involving faulty furniture, delayed installations, and billing issues.
Virginia in Sun City contacted Let ABC15 Know after struggling with a recliner that had been purchased months prior. Despite purchasing an extended warranty, the problems persisted even after repair attempts by the store. Volunteer Patrick worked directly with the furniture store to arrange for repair technicians to replace the stuffing and add new foam to the recliners.
Dennis in Phoenix emailed Let ABC15 Know about a delayed installation of a glass panel on his Jacuzzi shower. The panel had been ordered in February but was still missing months later. Volunteer Larry contacted Jacuzzi, resulting in the company sending technicians to install the panel and offering Dennis a Home Depot gift card for the inconvenience.
Mario in Chandler reached out to Let ABC15 Know over a billing dispute with an A/C company. Mario had been charged $1,500, significantly more than he had expected based on previous years' bills. Volunteer Darlene contacted the business, leading to a refund and resolving the issue.
