Ackman's AI Play: Billionaire Investor Holds Big Stakes in Top Tech Stocks
Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman's investment portfolio reveals his exposure to the artificial intelligence (AI) trend through several major stocks. Among them are Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta Platforms.
Ackman's Pershing Square Capital Management holds a significant stake in these companies, with 15% of its portfolio invested in Microsoft alone. The hedge fund manager is known for his value-oriented investment approach, buying undervalued companies that he believes will recover.
Microsoft recently reported impressive quarterly results, with a 43% growth rate in Azure revenue and an 18% rise in overall revenue. This has boosted the company's stock price by 15.5%. Ackman first initiated his Microsoft position during Q1 2026, and it remains one of his largest holdings.
Ackman also owns a significant stake in Amazon, with the hedge fund manager initiating his position during Q2 last year. The stock has been relatively flat until recent earnings reports showed strong growth in Amazon Web Services (AWS), which grew at 37% year-over-year.
