ACL Festival Headliners Clash on Sunday

Austin City Limits festival reaches its first weekend finale on Sunday, October 4. The headlining acts are The xx and Twenty One Pilots, who will clash with their sets scheduled for the same time slot.

The final day of Weekend One features a mix of indie rock, electronic acts, and festival favorites at Zilker Park. The conflict between the two headliners is set to begin at 8:30 p.m., when Twenty One Pilots take the American Express stage just five minutes before The xx headline the T-Mobile stage at 8:35.

Both sets will be available on the official livestream, allowing viewers at home to catch both performances even if fans inside Zilker Park have to choose one.

The hours leading up to the headliners are packed with major acts. Geese plays the T-Mobile stage at 6:20 p.m., while Sofi Tukker takes the American Express stage at 6:30. Parcels, Blood Orange, and The War on Drugs then fill the evening with overlapping sets around the 7:20-8:30 window.
