Aeroflot Diversifies Fleet Until 2035 Amid MC-21 Ambitions

Aeroflot's fleet is expected to remain diverse for the next decade, despite plans to increase its share of Russian aircraft. According to Andrey Napolnov, Investor Relations Director, most of the airline's narrow-body Airbus and Boeing planes will continue operating until at least 2030-2035.

The average age of Aeroflot's narrow-body fleet is about 11 years, leaving a significant part of its aircraft with substantial remaining service life. This means that both in 2030 and 2035, the majority of these planes will remain in operation.

Aeroflot currently operates 212 narrow-body Airbus and Boeing aircraft, as well as 59 wide-body ones. Additionally, the company has 78 domestic regional Superjet 100s in its fleet and leases four Airbus A330s with crews from iFly.
