Donald Wesley Decker, a veteran of the aerospace industry, passed away on September 26, 2026, in Roswell, New Mexico. Born on April 6, 1935, near Fruitland, Washington, Decker grew up to earn a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from WSU and Seattle University, respectively.

Decker had an extensive career in the aerospace industry, working for Lockheed, Boeing, and Honeywell on various projects, including the F-104, Minuteman, Saturn rocket systems, and the Joint Strike Fighter. He spent 30 years at Honeywell before moving to Roswell in 1996.

Decker is survived by his wife Billie Dove Decker, daughter Penny Bruns, two step-children, and several siblings and nieces and nephews. His parents and sister Carolyn Brown preceded him in death.
