Sam Altman, co-founder and CEO of OpenAI, recently acknowledged that the AI industry has done 'a terrible job' in explaining its benefits to ordinary Americans. This admission comes amidst growing concerns about the environmental impact, physical footprint, and potential catastrophic problems associated with AI technology.

The industry's leading stocks, including Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), and Alphabet (GOOG), have been affected by these concerns, but Altman believes that people will eventually see the value in AI technologies. He points to examples such as Apple's iPhone and Meta Platforms' Facebook, which were initially met with skepticism but ultimately gained widespread acceptance.

According to Precedence Research, the global AI market is expected to grow at an average annualized pace of 18.7% through 2035, despite current challenges. The question now is which AI platform will become the most popular among consumers, much like Apple's iPhone and Google did in their respective markets.
