AI Takes Center Stage at Bradley University TEDx Event
Bethany, IL - On Wednesday, September 30th, Bradley University is hosting a local TEDx event focused on artificial intelligence. The event will bring together leaders and community members to explore how AI reshapes leadership, collaboration, and everyday life.
The speakers at the event include Ryan Terao, founder and CEO of PsychSensei, Becky Buchen, senior VP of innovation and transformation at OSF, Cory Boulton, director of choral activities and music education at Bradley University, Ranen McLanahan, program director for KEEN at the Kern Family Foundation, Injy Wasfy, an undergraduate student in electrical engineering at Bradley University, and Charlie Wood, director of artificial intelligence product management at Caterpillar.
The event aims to provide attendees with a better understanding of AI's potential benefits and pitfalls. According to Economics Professor Joshua Lewer, the atmosphere at TEDx events is unique: 'At TED, it's like going to the Masters golf tournament. Everyone turns off their phones and you're there for two hours to be a part of it.'
The event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on September 30th at Bradley University, with tickets available for $5 (students) or $30 (non-students).
