AIR ONE Transports Industrial Gas Turbine to Kazakhstan via Boeing 747-400F Charter
AIR ONE, a global aviation group, has partnered with Dubai-based Proactive Logistic Solutions FZCO (PLS) to transport an industrial gas turbine from the UK's East Midlands Airport to Kazakhstan. The outsize shipment measured close to 3 meters in height and weighed over 8,400 kilograms.
The Boeing 747-400F charter was organised by AIR ONE for PLS, with One Air, a UK-based affiliate carrier of AIR ONE, operating the flight. Upon arrival at Aktau International Airport, the final stage of the gas turbine's journey was managed by PLS with the support of its local partner, Aviation & Forwarding Solutions (AFS).
Petr Novozhenov, Managing Director of Proactive Logistic Solutions FZCO, praised the teamwork behind the seamless transportation project. He said: 'Moving shipments like this requires the full support of everyone involved, a great deal of expertise, and strong communication.'
