Airbus Takes Flight with A350 Freighter in Bid for Cargo Supremacy

Airbus has finally taken to the skies with its new A350 freighter, marking an important milestone in the European planemaker's bid to challenge Boeing's dominance in the cargo business.

The aircraft, painted in a cardboard beige color to resemble a package, took off from Airbus's Toulouse facility in southern France on Tuesday morning.

The A350 freighter was originally scheduled to enter operations in 2025 but has faced repeated delays due to supply chain constraints. The aircraft is now expected to start commercial service with customers in the second half of next year.
