Alphabet Nears $5 Trillion Mark, Closing Gap on Nvidia

Alphabet's market capitalization has surpassed $4.8 trillion after its Class C shares hit a new intraday high of $398.37 and Class A shares reached $402.

This milestone brings Alphabet close to Nvidia's market cap, which currently stands at $5.23 trillion.

While Nvidia's performance has been steady this year, rising 13.96%, Google has surged over 25% in the same period, with a 34% gain in April marking its best monthly performance since 2004.

The narrowing valuation gap between Alphabet and Nvidia has sparked questions about whether Google is poised to break $5 trillion and seize the crown of 'King of Stocks' from Nvidia.
