Alpine Woods Capital Invests Heavily in Cisco Systems
Cisco Systems has seen significant institutional investment in recent quarters.
The latest data shows that Alpine Woods Capital Investors LLC acquired an additional 22,270 shares of Cisco's stock during the first quarter, growing its stake by 75.4% to a total of 51,806 shares worth $4,020,000 at the end of the reporting period.
This is not an isolated instance; several other institutional investors have also increased their positions in Cisco Systems over the past few quarters. Norges Bank purchased a new stake valued at approximately $4,473,272,000 during the fourth quarter, while Auto Owners Insurance Co lifted its position by 8,718.3% to own 51,952,421 shares worth $400,190,000.
In contrast to these institutional investors, Cisco's executive officers have sold company stock in recent months. In May, Jeetendra I. Patel and Deborah L. Stahlkopf each sold 7,169 and 6,586 shares of the firm's stock at an average price of $117.28, respectively.
