Amazon and Wiwynn are expanding their partnership in Texas through a new investment. The $1.6 billion investment will create nearly 1,000 advanced manufacturing jobs by the end of 2027, increasing Wiwynn's Texas workforce to over 2,500. This expansion is part of Amazon's broader effort to strengthen its supply chain by bringing custom hardware production to the U.S.

Gary Szilagyi, Amazon vice president of Annapurna Labs, said that investments in Texas have created more than 86,000 jobs across the state. Wiwynn's new facility will build on this impact and demonstrate how collaboration with manufacturing partners can strengthen the U.S. supply chain.

William Lin, president and CEO of Wiwynn, stated that the investment will help meet growing demand from U.S. customers and strengthen the resilience of the global supply chain. The expansion also aims to create high-value career opportunities through the company's continued partnership with the local community.
