Amazon Cargo Jet Crashes at Miami Airport, Five Dead, Two Crew Members Survive

A Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) investigation into Sunday's Amazon cargo jet crash at Miami International Airport revealed that two crew members survived the accident.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) provided an update during a press conference on Sunday, stating that the Boeing 767 aircraft had completed two previous flights before crashing in Miami.

The plane, operated by 21 Air LLC, overran the runway and caught fire while landing at the airport. According to NTSB Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy, the jet traveled approximately 1,300 feet beyond the paved surface, causing extensive damage to navigational aids and equipment.
