Amazon Cargo Jet Crashes at Miami International Airport

A new cellphone video captured a dramatic scene at Miami International Airport on Sunday after an Amazon cargo jet overran a runway and crashed. The pilot of the plane was seen jumping out of the cockpit door and running for his life as the plane rapidly burst into flames.

Olvin Henriquez, who had passed by the crash site with his family, including a 4-month-old daughter, captured the aftermath on camera. He described the scene as 'terrifying', saying that he was shocked to witness the pilot's escape and the plane engulfed in flames.

The crash sent thick black smoke billowing into the sky and trapped several people, including the two pilots, inside the cockpit and nearby cars. Five people were killed and five others were injured, but the two pilots have since been released from the hospital.
