Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami Airport, Killing Five
A cargo plane operated by Amazon Air crashed on Sunday at Miami International Airport, resulting in five fatalities and multiple injuries. The aircraft, which had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, overran the runway around 2 p.m. and plowed across a road used by warehouse workers and other businesses surrounding the airport.
According to officials, three people were critically injured and two others were hospitalized with less severe injuries. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
