Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes in Miami After Overrunning Runway
A Boeing 767-300 cargo plane operated by Amazon Prime Air overshot the runway while landing in Miami on Sunday, resulting in a tragic loss of life.
The aircraft had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico earlier that day and was on its way to deliver cargo when it crashed.
According to reports, five people have been confirmed dead and five more were injured in the crash. The plane struck multiple vehicles on the road before catching fire, prompting a massive response from emergency services.
