Amazon Facility Evacuated in MS Amid Gas Leak Concerns

Amazon employees at an MS facility were evacuated on Tuesday morning after reports of a possible gas leak or chemical spill.

The incident occurred at the Amazon fulfillment center in Byhalia, Mississippi, which is located just south of the Tennessee state line along U.S. 72.

According to eyewitnesses, employees began coughing and throwing up around 7:30 a.m., although this information has not been confirmed through official sources.

The evacuation lasted approximately two hours before workers were allowed back into the building, but only to a break room area.
