LA28 Olympic Torch Relay Expands to All 50 US States

The LA28 Olympic torch relay will visit all 50 U.S. states for the first time in Olympic history, marking a significant expansion from previous events.

Organizers announced that the relay will start in Atlanta on its way to Los Angeles for the Opening Ceremony on July 14, 2028. This marks a tribute to a city with deep Olympic roots and its partners like Coca-Cola, which has supported every event since 1928.

The torch relay will span local landmarks, festivals, sporting events, and partner sites across the nation, with four presenting partners, Coca-Cola, JPMorgan Chase, Allstate, and Xfinity, helping select torchbearers and route stops. LA28 plans to announce additional partners in the coming months.
