Amazon Insiders Flee $15M Worth of Stock Amid August Sell-Off
A flurry of insider trading activity has been reported at Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) as six senior personnel members collectively sold over $15 million worth of equity on August 21.
According to SEC filings, CEO Andrew Jassy led the charge by dumping 20,000 shares worth $5.18 million at an average price of $259.01 per share.
Senior Vice President David Zapolsky and AWS CEO Matthew Garman were next in line, selling 15,430 and 14,541 shares respectively for a combined total of over $7.76 million.
