Amazon Mattress Recall Hits Over 50,000 Units Amid Fire Safety Concerns

Three mattress companies have issued recalls for over 50,000 mattresses sold on Amazon due to potential fire hazards. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recalls, citing that the mattresses violate the mandatory flammability standard.

The affected mattresses were sold between December 2024 and May 2026, with no reported injuries associated with them. The CPSC has identified three companies: Kesyup, WinxMatrs, and Emerspring, which have recalled a total of 48,405, 792, and 263 mattresses respectively.

Kesyup-branded mattresses were sold in various sizes for between $100 to $200, while WinxMatrs mattresses were only available in twin size for around $120. Emerspring mattresses, on the other hand, were queen-size with a price tag of about $226.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled mattresses and contact the respective companies for refunds or replacements. Kesyup customers will receive a refund after sending a picture of their mattress marked 'Recalled', while WinxMatrs customers will also follow the same process as Kesyup. Emerspring, however, will provide a free fitted cover to address the compliance issue.
