Amazon Mattress Recall Hits Over 50,000 Units Due to Fire Hazard Concerns

Three mattress companies have been forced to recall over 50,000 mattresses sold on Amazon due to potential fire hazards. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recalls last week, citing that the mattresses 'violate the mandatory flammability standard for mattresses, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire.'

The affected mattresses were sold online at Amazon between December 2024 and May 2026. The CPSC reported that Kesyup-branded mattresses were recalled due to non-compliance with safety standards, while WinxMatrs and Emerspring mattresses were also recalled for the same reason.

Kesyup's impacted mattresses, sold in twin, full, queen, and king sizes, had a white top with blue sides and trim. They were priced between $100 to $200 and were all sold on Amazon from December 2024 to April 2026. Consumers are advised to stop using the mattress and contact the company for a refund.

The CPSC also mentioned that WinxMatrs mattresses, sold in twin size, had a black design and were priced around $120. They were only available on Amazon from August 2025 to November 2025. Consumers are advised to follow the same recall instructions as Kesyup-branded mattresses.

Emerspring's impacted mattresses, queen-size with white tops and green trim, were sold for about $226 on Amazon from January 2026 to May 2026. The company is offering a free fitted cover to fix the compliance issue.
