Amazon MGM's Egg Baby Adds Two New Stars
Ariana Greenblatt is set to star alongside two new co-stars in Amazon MGM's upcoming romantic comedy, Egg Baby. Kingston Rumi Southwick and Arthur Conti join Greenblatt in a story about an unlikely romance that develops when they're forced to co-parent an egg for health class. The film follows the story of a rebellious artist (Greenblatt) and a golden-boy quarterback (Southwick), who find themselves unexpectedly raising 'Yolk-o', only to discover that their shared experience might crack open something real between them.
Director Natalia Anderson is behind the camera, with XYZ Films producing in association with BuzzFeed Studios. The film will stream globally on Prime Video. Southwick's recent breakout roles include Widow's Bay, which scored a record number of Emmy nominations this year, and Apple's Presumed Innocent. Conti has been seen in several recent projects, including the Mubi slasher Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma and Tim Burton's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
