Amazon Package Flung Onto Porch by Careless Delivery Driver Caught on Camera

A disturbing package delivery incident has surfaced in Florida after a Ring doorbell camera captured a driver from Yun Express, a third-party carrier used by Amazon, carelessly flinging a customer's package onto their concrete porch.

The video shows the driver approaching the home with a handheld device to take a proof-of-delivery photo before hurling the package into the air and walking away. The box lands with a loud thud, causing damage to one corner of the box as captured in a photo shared by the customer, Nathan Pekas.

Pekas jokingly speculated that the driver's behavior might have been due to the sweltering Florida summer heat 'being too much to make those extra two steps to the door.' Amazon acknowledged the incident and stated they are looking into it. The company expressed disappointment in the driver's handling of the delivery, saying 'This video does not reflect the standards we have for our delivery partners.'
